This policy explains what astronomy.today collects, why, and what you can do about it. We keep it to what the service needs — there is no advertising or tracking.
The data controller for astronomy.today is Pedro Gil Guirado. For any privacy request, contact contact@astronomy.today.
To provide the service you asked for (performance of a contract); to keep it secure (legitimate interests); and, for optional preference storage, on your consent — which you can withdraw at any time in Cookie settings.
We use only strictly-necessary cookies plus optional functional storage. The full list is in the Cookie Policy.
We do not sell your data or share it for advertising. Static assets (fonts and libraries) load from public CDNs, which may see your IP to deliver the file. Our hosting provider processes data on our behalf to run the site.
Account and profile data are kept while your account exists and deleted when you delete it. “Remember me” tokens expire after 30 days. Uploaded editing files are temporary. Logs are kept only briefly.
Connections use HTTPS, passwords and pairing tokens are hashed, and the home agent connects outward only — there are no inbound ports into your network.
You may request access to your data, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or object to processing, and withdraw consent at any time. You can edit your account and delete profiles yourself, or contact us at contact@astronomy.today. If you are in the EU/UK you may also complain to your data-protection authority.
astronomy.today is not directed at children and is not intended for use by anyone under the age required for consent in their country.
We may update this policy; the date below shows the latest version.
